new work, in the present tenseA new project is called 'Present tense' which makes connections in my locality, extending outwards. It is about changing landscapes, about culture and agriculture - how people, animals, land and climate adjust to each other. My main way of investigating is to draw in the field, supported by reading and conversation. The first stage in this project is to look at sheep - ubiquitous animals, often overlooked, who reward closer attention.
